| Storyline: | A vulcanologist arrives at a countryside named Dante's Peak after his boss instructs him to investigate the possibility of a dormant volcano (the Dante's Peak) getting active again in that region. As story progresses, we see that Dalton is getting increasingly convinced that the volcano might blow up but his boss is reluctant to declare an emergency in the city yet (because of possibility that if the volcano finally does never erupt, the real estate prices will plummet anyway and the city might loose a huge financial investment deal). This is just a really great action/adventure movie about a huge volcano and what everyone goes thru to survive it's epic and massive eruption. This movie has lots of good stars in it like Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton as the main characters. Great telling of a great volcano story. Worth watching if you haven't seen it so do not pass this one up.

I love this movie, I have seen it like twenty times, And I still can't pass it up.
Five stars all the way, Great acting, Effects, And directing make this a great film.

I like this movie and i'm a fan of Pierce Brosnan and i've always been interested in volcanos so this movie was really interesting to watch but 1 scene that I didn't like in this movie was when that old lady got out of the boat and pushed them to that bridge because I thought it was a sad scene and it made me cry.
Good movie.
