| Storyline: | TAKERS takes you into the world of a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low between heists. I wanted to watch this movie and was looking forward to it. Knew the cast wasn't a top dollar cast, but figured it could be a good ensemble and I love watching movies about bank heists. Someone compared this to "The Town", and I think calling this the poor man's version of "The Town" might be a good comparison, if not making the movie still appear better then it was. There is some good action, but everything else falls pretty short. There was very little character development, and you probably find more about secondary characters then you do primary characters, and that still isn't much. It's as if you just get bits and pieces, of what probably could've been a really good story. In regards to the plot line, you see everything coming. Not sure if that may have had something to do with the bad acting (sorry T.I.), or that it was just so transparent because of everything the movie was lacking. If you have time to kill and there's nothing else to watch, then sure, but after seeing it once I'm not sure I'd watch it again even scrolling through the channels with nothing else on, which makes me sad because I like most of the actors and wanted to like it so much.

i thaught it was good but just some of the parts where good not the whole movie i am saying this if u wanna see this then watch it if u do not wanna see it dont waste your time on it

pretty good, some bad acting here and there, but wont ruin it. 2 1/2 of 4 stars good.
