Critics elsewhere bashed this pretty good when it first came out, but what the hell do they know. Great guy flick with a good blend of story line and action, and about as visually authentic as a war movie can get. Just as enjoyable the second time around. Recommended

i am a war vet myself and i really love war movies,this rates high on my list of all time great war movies,the action was excellent and the acting was superb!!Brad Pitt was as always outstanding,but the one who suprised me was Shia Lebouf,i didn't know he was still doing movies but he was just the best!!!10/10!!! A keeper!!!

The story line is likely good, BUT I can only find ONE absolutely terrible cut. Doesn't anyone have a better one????

What a treat! Even the little bit rough version here reminds me of the old war movies I would watch on a sunday afternoon. Man, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen..and with the intense parts, I found myself grinding my teeth!

Well, it was pretty good. Slow at times, the adrenalizing parts make up for it. I can't think of another war movie about tanks. 8/10
